Grant Writing, Fundraising, and Project Management
Non-profit organizations play a critical role in our community, and Julie has worked with boards, staff, and volunteers on a wide variety of issues since 1990. Her diversity of skills comes from grass-roots, do-it-all, penny-pinching work with wonderful organizations in Eugene. Writing grants, planning workshops, facilitating board meetings, teaching grant writing at Lane Community College and managing complex projects are just a few of her responsibilities over the years. She enjoys working with people committed to justice, democracy, the human condition, and the health of our planet.
Her past work includes:
- Successful grant for Bethel School District
- Successful grant for SEIU Local 503
- Successful Grant for Madison Meadow
- Successful Grant for Upstart Crow Studios
- Project Management of $1.3 million grant to Birth To Three for curriculum development.
- Strategic Planning for the Willamette Valley Farm and Food Coalition
- Facilitation of Board Retreat for Oregon Arts Alliance
- Grant writing and conference planning for the Center for Community Counseling
